I'll confine myself to saying that the EF 200 f2.8L is one of Canon's sharpest
lenses, with high contrast and good colour rendition, and was my first L lens.
Haven't used the others.  Have you considered getting a 1.4x converter?  I guess
Canon's are best although limited in application, but independent ones give you
more flexibility.
