Well, I've been had. Having checked DPReview I now see the Kodak is N***N based vice EOS based. No matter... Of course now it really seems that Canon should do something about the 1Ds MSRP they've floated at $8999. At over twice the proposed MSRP on the Kodak AND a sensor pixel count disadvantage they won't be winning many NEW converts to the EOS digital system. (Yes, I know the pixel count difference at those resolutions isn't that big a deal, but, let's face it...to the digitally inexperienced and to the pure number crunchers it WILL be a big deal and therefore WILL make a difference to new DIGITAL converts.) Plus I'm just whining because I can make a far fetched case to the spousal unit to buy a $4000 body but double that is just out of the question. It would exponentially increase the ensuing divorce settlement, and NOT in my favor! :)
