Mehrdad, I actually used to have this lens (the 4L) and then switched to the 80-200 2.8L.
Somehow, the pictures from the 80-200 2.8L seems sharper, 'more alive'. If you do not need very fast autofocus speed (and the 80-200 is not slow either), then I would buy a used 80-200 2.8L over the 4L anyday. Needless to say, I do not miss the 4L, as great a lens it was. evrim > alex, the 70~200 /f4 l lens is very very light, has excellent > performance. u > can carry it all day and not feel the weight. from time to > time b&h sells > this lens in the used dept as refurb for a very good price. > once u shoot > with this lens, u will not go back to the sigma. best to go > to a local store > and try it. > > ------------------------------------------------------ > Regards, Mehrdad * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
