Disabling right click is considered by many to be quite rude. Some people
use right-click for navigation and other legitmate purposes. Taking away
standard browser behaviour is not an answer for protecting images online.
As others have pointed out, if someone can view your photo on their computer
it's too late to stop them from "stealing" it.

It is far easier than the article points out.

1. (Windows assumed) Left click and drag the image down to a blank area
(normally grey) of your taskbar and hover until the desktop appears then
release the button somewhere over the desktop to drop the image. [Note this
doesn't work on Pauls site as image links to HTML)

2. Right Click the Image - keep it held in. The popup appears, hit space,
popup disappears, release right mouse button, popup appears again, hit
space. The right click context menu will appear.

I don't encorage image theft, though I do question the worth of stealing
300x450, or other low-res image. I just think that it is important to make
people aware how annoying No-Right-Click can be for some users and how
amazingly simple it is to circumvent so that people don't get a false sense
of security.
