Mr Posner,

What is then the exact meaning of the EOS 1Ds? Is it an accident? In my
opinion a 24x36 mm sensor size does more than keep the focal of the
lenses. It allows getting more number of pixels and, finally a better
image quality. I think that cheaper full format digital reflex are in
the horizon of Canon plans. But you are a Nikon user, aren't you? And
there their conditioning to third part suppliers concerning the captor,
instead of own production as Canon's case, make depend further
developments to others considerations. But the new Kodak is again a
clear example of the right path. Contax is another path but here they
have got, perhaps, a marketing failure. It's my opinion, as a user of
Canon SRL digital and Nikon too. Fortunately some of us may live with
same focal with digital and film cameras.

Felix
