Ken, there is for sure an (expensive and discontinued) Adaptall-2 adapter for the EOS lens, and perhaps the older Adaptall as well. Or, as our gracious host WJM has noted here:
http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/mounts.htm one can achieve the same result with an Adaptall to M42 attached to an M42 to EOS adapter. Although I've never "stacked" adapters, I own and use several Vivitar screw-mount lenses on my 10D with an M42 adapter. The 55mm f/2.8 macro is one of my favorites and can be had for $50-75.
