9.5 MP and 1.3 crop don't seem likely.  That puts it
at higher resolution than the 1D MkII, which I don't
think Canon will do.

My guess (and it's nothing more than a guess), is that
it will use the same sensor as the 10d, but have a
larger buffer (though smaller than the Mk II's),
continuous shooting speed faster than the 10d but
slower than the Mk II, only 1 card slot (CF), 45 Pt AF
instead of 7, and a faster processor than the 10d (but
probably slower than the Mk II).  It will have E-TTL
II, of course, and hopefully be closer to the size and
weight of the 10d than the Mk II.  It won't have the
Personal Functions of the 1v or 1D MkII,
unfortunately.

That's assuming the camera exists at all, of course.
