Is there a program that will do a batch conversion from RAW to JPEG? I see PS has a convert to .psd automation, but I doubt he can open those either. How do you guys deal with this?
Ken,
Both Paintshop Pro 7 and Photoshop have a Batch Conversion option. In PhotoShop (I am using Elements 2) you can also change the image size and filename at the same time. I don't know whether they will convert from Canon RAW files. I suspect not. Photoshop CS has RAW support built-in, but I have never used it.
A lot of people use BreezeBrowser: http://www.breezesys.com/
Free converters that you might try are:
XnView: http://www.xnview.com/
Irfanview: http://www.irfanview.com/. You also need the Plugin and the dll files for CRW conversion.
