The specs quoted on dPreview.com from a Korean site:
http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1019&message=9924289
quote 8.2 MegaPixels and a 1.6 crop. This would mean that Canon has developed two CMOS sensors, a 1.3 crop for the 1D Mk II and the 1.6 for the D20. The Swedish site mentioned previously also mentions 1.6, so it may well be correct.
The price seems high to me. Notwithstanding the higher spec, it needs to be priced to challenge the Nikon D70. The suggested street price is about the same as the 10D Still, perhaps there is a 300D replacement in the works, but not mentioned in the current leak.
If correct, then Canon's announcement should be on August 20
There are some minor differences between the 10D and 20D: The flash now rises higher, similar to the 300D, and the shape of the hand grip seems slightly different, plus the corners are slightly sharper.
Cheers
Keith
