It shows you the thumbnails for browsing, same as the Canon DSLRs (3x3), and then you can view them in a slideshow mode as well (on-screen or externally w/ included cables). Bill: If you're looking for something that will import pictures and display them on the fly, Michael Reichman has reviewed the Epson P-2000 which sounds like it has many of the features as the iPod photo (at the same price per storage), minus the cool interface for playing and managing music, but with the ability to atually import pics from flash cards and display them.
