And from my testing early last year, the Sigma performs as well as the Canon. Although at this juncture, I'm kinda wishing I had waited and looked at the new Sigma 150mm, which is nearly 2 inches shorter (more compact). With a 1.6x sensor, I could have given up 30mm of focal length and 75mm of working distance I think.
