----------------------------------------- Mike, Most Canon filters are Tiffen. My recommendation would be a Hoya Super HMC Pro 1 UV. It has L41 glass and multicoating. Next to that Kenko makes an L41 filter. Why L41? You will see zero difference except when you use it near the sea or at altitudes in the mountains. L41 will cut out more UV that L39. Sky filters are useless except in shaded areas where you want a tiny amount of warming.
