Long term I want to see dnf allowing overrides in a generic way, but this 
probably
won't be available in EL until at least EL10 or later. Short term... editing the
repo file, either by hand / with sed or with dnf config-manager, is the only 
way.

One problem is, once you touch the .repo file, you will no longer pick up any 
changes
introduced by later RPM updates (though that's rare) since they are marked
`%config(noreplace)`
