Hi, I got some great feedback already including some feedback on the cross browser compatibility of the new toolbar, which troubled me enough to do some extra research. I focused on MSIE and FireFox on Windows and Linux and tested the rendering of pages framed (with tree navigator and banner) and unframed.
I attached the results (zip files with screenshots) of rendering to my bugzilla for this https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=240279. Text of the bugzilla is below. IE is not ok: 1) PNG transparancy only works from msie7.0 upwards 2) positioning in IE is a little bit off (lower) causing extra whitespace. The positioning issue can be fixed with CSS hacks. I propose we don't fix the PNG transparancy issue as this is a bug in IE and will be solved as users upgrade to more recent versions of IE.
