Hi everyone, I would like to have your inputs on how to proceed from here. It has been some time since I notified Eclipse Foundation about this problem. I don't see a lot of movement? See https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=270910
As the webmaster of this site I feel responsible for it and I think we should do something. At a minimum we could put up a notice at that location that there is a problem and/or redirect traffic to EPF project site or something. Currently any user trying to access content via Google, bookmarks, (deep) links will just have to wait a long time and then get a page not found error. Because I didn't want to just wait and do nothing, I have put a backup copy online of all the content at a different location http://restored.epfwiki.net/. Also I have changed the EPF project website: all the links now point to the backup location. A substantial portion of the traffic originates from this location. The biggest part of traffic however originates from links provided by the Google search engine so for this reason I think it would be best to just redirect all traffic to the backup location or EPF project website. Shall I ask Eclipse webmaster to redirect all traffic to the backup location?
