Hi does anyone run epigram on a sparc box with a recently upgraded solaris compiler? Here at the CAU they did an upgrade which brought
XEmacs 21.4 (patch 12) "Portable Code" [Lucid] (sparc-sun-solaris2.8) with it. Now, when i start to type in a freshly startet session, the whole thing collapses immediatedly. Lisp backtrace follows: own-selection-internal(CLIPBOARD "[]\n" nil nil) # bind (zmacs-region-stays data-type how-to-add type data) own-selection("[]\n" CLIPBOARD) # bind (push string) own-clipboard("[]\n" t) # bind (replace string) kill-new("[]\n") # bind (undo-high-threshold tail verbose end start) kill-region(80 83) # bind (entire-line arg) kill-line-1(1 nil) # bind (arg) kill-line(1) # bind (x d) bols(1 ((("[" . EFY) "d" ("]" . EFY)))) (progn (toggle-read-only -1) (bols 1 (quote ...)) (toggle-read-only 1)) (sneakily (bols 1 (quote ...))) # (unwind-protect ...) (save-current-buffer (set-buffer epigram-buffer) (sneakily (bols 1 ...))) (with-current-buffer epigram-buffer (sneakily (bols 1 ...))) (epigram (sneakily (bols 1 ...))) # bind (current-load-list) # (unwind-protect ...) # (unwind-protect ...) # bind (standard-output) eval-region(4321 4381) # (unwind-protect ...) # bind (x) epigram-doer((#<buffer "*Epigram-bin*"> 4321 . 4381)) # (condition-case ... . error) # (catch top-level ...) Sorry for this. I did manage to run epigram in the previously installed XEmacs 21.3 with some editing of the emacs-epigram-interpreted.el file, but this time i've no idea. Best Regards, Sebastian
