I definitely don't want to type (I'm usually a keyboard freak, but when web browsing heavily I use mostly the mouse), and I definitely don't want a separate window cluttering my workspace. When I look at my imported bookmarks from the Bookmarks menu, the submenus are preserved. But when I type Ctrl-b for the bookmarks window, and either drag & drop the top level topic or right click and select "Show in Bookmarks Bar", the menu in the bookmarks bar only shows the top level bookmarks; no submenus.
