This is likely because IE is using some proprietary/MS-specific method of sharing this information, but Gecko/Mozilla/Epiphany doesn't support it. (Perhaps ironically, if this is the case, this is not because Mozilla doesn't support all these "cool" things, but because MS decides to do things their own way.)
