But if I'm not mistaken you were using it the wrong way, opening new
tabs before loading the page you wanted. I meant, give it some time
using it the way it's meant to be used.

Yeah, but they might still show an inherited behaviour from the way they
used their previous browser.

This is what I don't understand, this behaviour is not new at all. Epi
has ALWAYS behaved this way, in fact I filed a bug more than a year ago
regarding the same issue, and the devs told me that it was not a bug but
the way it's supposed to work.

The only way for it to open blank new tabs is to explicitally set your
homepage to blank.
