I'm not a developer but I think I can pretty much guess the design goals of epiphany, so somebody correct me if I'm wrong here: - epiphany is a gnome integrated and usability-centered application - it will never get skins - themes are handled by GTK/gnome - epiphany releases a stable release every 6 months. That's fast enough. Internet explorer did not make releases in years.
Now go read up on epiphany before asking that it becomes an unintegrated, out-of-place looking piece of software on the gnome desktop. Epiphany already has session management, at least crash recovery, and it had it before firefox did. A DownThemAll extension: well you can write one... or wait for somebody to implement it, I'm not sure if mass downloads are planned one day.
