hello i like to bind certain bookmarks to hotkeys.
my current solution is to use autokey-gtk in order to send the keynav commands to select the apporpriate bookmark (ie <alt>+b then navigate with arrow keys). this is a imperfect solution as autokey only allows you to limit the scope of a hotkey by filtering on the window title. this is subopitmal because the HIG states (i believe) you shouldn't have the application name in the window title. so i tried to assign a hotkey using the standard gtk+ mechanism. that is i turned on can_change_accels and sure enough i can add keybindings! the problem is they don't work. for example i use the bookmarklet quix and i have it bound to <ctrl>. the menu shows that the keybinding is there but it doesn't do anything with i invoke the hotkey. is there something i am missing?
