Did I ever tell you my.... Russian Roulette Fish Story? I was on a dock one day, after having returned from a day of fishing with a friend. On the dock I talked to an oriental lady (Japanese, I believe) who was searching for a sailor on a commercial fishing boat moored nearby from whom she bought fresh fish.... the fellow was not there. She was upset that she could not get any fish that day. I asked the lady if she had a fishing rod, she said that she did, so I suggested that she get it and I would give her a bait fish, show her how to prepare it and hook it on her rod and she could fish off the dock for a "striper bass"... a fairly large and good eating fish... from the dock. The lady was skeptical so I made her my Russian Roulette wager, I told her that I gave her my bullet on the bet.... I told her that if she failed to catch her fish within a reasonable amount of time, I would promise to blow my own brains out for having let her down....She agreed to try fishing.... I set her up with the bait and went back to washing down and preparing to leave the boat I went out on... About 15 minutes later.... she caught the desired fish, a good specimen and I "netted" it for her....She looked at me strangely for a while before she left.... and I lived to wager another day..... How many chance "miracles" or "coincidences" do you need to prove a thesis.... Archytas?...... HAR
