Let's look at the set of odd numbers. It contains three mutually exlusive sets - set of all odd primes, set of all odd composites and a set of the singleton (1) which is neither prime nor composite. We bring into play another set of the singleton (2) which the only even number that is prime. Then the long awaited prime number equation is found out of these sets to be: total number of primes up to a natural number N equals K-C. K is total number of odd numbers up to N and C is total number of odd composites up to N. This result gives precise count of total number of primes up to N. I discovered it while studying farm heaps layout by an ethnic group called Tiv of central Nigeria. I presented the seminar at Benue State University, Makurdi on May 9, 2014. It is found at The K-C Prime Number..."
