Thank you, Mr. Atovigba... truth be told, I had noticed that "inconsistency" as well... I did place (?) in my post as "qualifiers".... Numbers is not my strength, by any means... but I can do some math, and I can also reference a question to others who are more adept... What I noticed is that your point is valid... but you can take it another step 9x12=108. 10+8=18 which is not 9. 18 =1+8=9 9x15=135. 13+5=18 which is not 9.....ditto 9x31=279. 27+9=36 which is not 9. 36=3+6=9 I have found credible web sites that do say that these second (or third, etc.) stage sum reductions do all distill down to 9.
