Question #195888 on Epoptes changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/epoptes/+question/195888
Blake Swensen posted a new comment: I used the SSH model (solution #1 above). It seemed like the most bullet proof. Since we have two networks (as mentioned), I configured a computer with two NICs and allow it to be the Epoptes gateway, as it were. It's not doing any routing, but by putting one NIC on the thin client network, and the other on the administrative network, teachers can use ssh, or VNC to monitor the lab. I registered the NIC that is on the thin client network as the server. The only glitch is that screen captures and user name lables are not appearing on the Epoptes main screen. I am getting the green thin client icon and I can monitor any of the clients, but the screen captures are not appearing and it decreases the usability of the software. Is there a config I can tweak? -- You received this question notification because you are a member of Epoptes Developers, which is an answer contact for Epoptes. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~epoptes Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~epoptes More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
