Syd,

Your plane looks fantastic !
Tim,
I flew into OSH with Syd in 2003 and had a GREAT
time. That is a "MUST DO" for you.
Best regards,

I'm Syd Cohen from Wausau, WI. I have a D model, NC94196, serial no. 1519. There are quite a few Ercoupers in the Twin Cities area. Just look in the directory issue of Coupe Capers. I'm sure you'll get to meet them soon.
I'm organizing an Ercoupe, Cub & Aeronca Fly-In at EAA's Pioneer Field on the weekend of April 30 and May 1. Special arrival procedures are required, so contact me if you would like to join us.
I also lead the Flight of Ercoupes into AirVenture each year. This year we'll fly in on Saturday, July 23. I'll have a notice in Coupe Capers about it.
Hope to see you soon,
Syd

----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- Ercoupers: Hello again, I am now living in Southern Minnesota, just outside Minneapolis. My Ercoupe is now based at Crystal Airport (KMIC) and in a hangar at Crystal Shamrock FBO. I picked up my stranded Ercoupe from Algona, Iowa on December 22nd. An old friend who now flys Learjets drove me down there to get it. It had the fuel pump repaired along with the rest of the squawks as part of the annual. Nothing major came up on the annual thankfully. I highly recommend Jim as a good IA at the Algona Airport. I thought he was very fair and did a great job on 413. The flight back from Algona was on a clear, cold day around zero degrees F. With just me aboard, 413's climb exceeded 1000 fpm in the super-dense air! I about froze with no cabin heater!! the OAT at 3,500 was -10F and within a half-hour, my hands were aching!! A definite priority is to get my cabin heater installed. I alternated putting my hands under my leg to warm them up. The LCD display on my GPS would periodically "Freeze" up too. I had to cycle it on and off to bring it back to life. Its been so cold I haven't ventured out to the airport. I'm definitely missing the warm days in San Diego!! I'd be interested to meet up with any Minnesota, Iowa or Wisconsin based Ercoupers on a warm day here. Drop me a line!!
