I wish to install a Microair M760 into my 1946 Ercoupe 415-C. I'm getting resistance from local mechanics who keep saying "TSO" and "PMA" (it has what is apparently the Australian equivalent of a "PMA"). My letter from the EAA citing the lack of FARs requiring a "TSO" in this case isn't getting it done. What is the experience? I thought I'd read that others had these radios in their 'Coupes. How does one get it done?
