John; I Have installed a key start starter in a C-85 in a Coupe. As I recall, it saves about 1 pound of weight, and can be done by stuffing the accessory case full of rags so that no metal shavings get into the engine when you cut off the pin that the current starter rides on. It is kind of nice using a key start, but I would not recommend it unless you have a problem with your current starter.
