Hi All ,I just rec'd some news regarding a very good friend of mine.He and his wife encountered wind shear during take off in his homebuilt Glastar on floats and crashed.
He lives in Hayward Wisconsin.They spun in through the trees and impacted the sandy shore underneath.the floats took alot of the impact but so did they.Both Hospitalized both will need full body casts.I'm not going into detail but all I can say is Pray for these people they ran the Seaplane base at OSH this year.They are Just like us.Tom and Kate Sadlicki.He's a very well seasoned pilot and instrument rated.
