First off, thanks to all who replied about trailering a coupe. It was definitely the last resort, and it turned out that initially I didn't need it. Left from Dallas, TX and got the crap beat out of me by convection for a few hours. In MS, things got absolutely calm and beautiful. Be advised, those of you who have occasion to go to/through Columbus, MS: The AOPA, sectional charts, etc do not show a tower at GTR. Well there is one, and they have abandoned the old CTAF frequency. Suffice it to say they get pissed when you land without a radio, because so many people have done it lately. The airplane is still at GTR because I spent the night there, and awoke to a stuck valve. Bummer, but it happens. Maybe I should have trailered.... Naaaahh, it would have stuck sometime anyhow. Thanks again, folks!
