For those of you who were planning on attending the Chapter 1177 Poker-Run & Chili Cookout this Sunday, Oct 10th, in Palmyra WI, be aware that the event has been cancelled. They have been paving the taxiways, and doing some runway improvements, over the last month. As of last Friday the runway was still closed. It has been re-seeded but the new grass had not started to grow yet. We felt there was no way the runway would be in acceptable condition by the 10th, so it was decided to scrap the event for this year. We will try again next year. Chapter 1177 apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused.
