When I first bought my Coupe, I grabbed the prop one day and gave it a yank straight out along the centerline of the fuselage. I was amazed at the amount of play, and the resounding THUNK it made when it hit the outer limit. I figured I had a serious problem until this group let me know that that's the way it's supposed to work, and that, as I understand it, there's a thrust bearing out there somewhere that protects that puppy from damage. If you don't have some play and the thunk, you'd best be checking, cause that's when you really have a problem.
