Here's the address of a drawing of the part in question along with all of
the
measurements etc.

According to that drawing, the bottom 1/4" of the coil should be marked
red..
There should also be a green mark starting 5" from the bottom going up to
5
1/4"
making it 1/4" wide also for any of you out there mathematically
challenged
like
me.

Oh yes, it also says to use oil resisting paint.

My fluid level gage for the nose strut on my 415C/D has no marks on it.
The
gage itself is 11 in. long where should the mark be for it to have
a sufficient amount of hyd. fluid.
