Just in case anyone is planning a flight through Central Texas in the next
few days, be advised that the prohibited
airspace around George Dubya's ranch will be extended per the announcement
below. My home airport here
in Gatesville (05F) is about 14 miles from the ranch, so this pretty much
puts me on the ground until hizzoner goes back
to Washington.

We get two or three force-downs at the airport every time this happens,
due
to people not knowing about the
restrictions, or not using their radios, or other reasons. I just wanted
to
pass this along to everyone so you won't
find yourself flying formation with an F-16. By the way, if they have any
reason to think that the President is
in danger, they will shoot and ask questions later.
