Paul, You need to feed the scans into a Optical Character Recognition program which converts it into actual words in the computer. Your scanner probably came with a simple OCR program or a limited use copy of a good OCR program. The downside of OCR is that you have to proofread the document very carefully since there are always errors. The worse the original and the worse your OCR program, the more errors. Still, some freeby programs are pretty decent and give few errors. Thanks for doing this. It'd be good to have it available on the club website and other Coupe oriented websites, too. This is the bulletin that covers conversion of the C-75 to 85. However the resultant PDF document is over 6.5 Megs in size!!!! Anyone have any ideas on how to reduce this so I can pass it on?? Obviously the individual pages were entered into the PDF as images rather than text. I'll be glad to provide anyone a copy of this--- IF I can figure out how to reduce it in size.
