Bob; It sounds like everything is checking out. How did the tachometer
error 
check? I would fly it off a hard surface runway and check the performance 
that way. Make sure you double check the airspeed too. I found a small
static 
leak in the last Alon I did an annual inspection on, and the indicated 
airspeed dropped about 10 mph after I fixed the leak. A hand held GPS
makes a 
quick and easy way to check up on that airspeed indication.
