Dennis, et al, There is a
power plant just south out of Vidalia, Ga, on the outside edge of the MOA. You might want to check with the FBO at Vidalia
as to whether or not the locals have an unofficial route for avoiding the plant
by 3-5 miles. If the MOA is not active
you shouldn’t have any problems, but if it is active and you decide to avoid it’s
interior keep the plant’s location in mind.
A flight of coupes might look like they are loitering over the plant, even
at full speed. Ken Doyle Springfield,

That's the beauty of Nuvite. (This is starting to sound like a commercial, isn't it?) Really, I only polish twice a year. I do, though, keep the plane in a hangar. I think you're secretly polishing it daily ;-) Leslie Holbrook Alon A2 N161LH (Flying Colors #1) Chester, CT 3B9 From: Sydney Cohen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Reply-To: Sydney Cohen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Ercoupers Social <[email protected]> Subject: [COUPERS-FLYIN] Want your Ercoupe polished? Date: Fri, 30 May 2003 22:11:48 -0500 ----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- Hi gang, I was contacted again by a representative of Nuvite Chemical Corporation today. He said Nuvite would like to polish an Ercoupe, Forney or Alon in their booth at AirVenture Oshkosh this year. They need one that is totally unpolished and can stay there for the entire week. Even if you have a painted Ercoupe and have always wanted a polished one, but were afraid of all of the work involved in polishing it, you could just strip the paint off, put temporary N numbers on it, and bring it to Oshkosh. If you have such an animal, and are willing to let them polish it up so it looks like a mirror (for free) contact me as soon as possible. By the way, maintaining the beauty of the polish job is not that bad, once the initial polishing is done for you. I only repolish twice a year.
