Our spinner back plate has a crack as well! It has been repaired with a piece added & rivited. A hole is drilled
in the end of the crack. We have now put 150 hrs on it since the repair & inspected it at annual. The fix seems to
be working well. We got the prop balanced but it was still so close that the prop guy added nothing.
Just another option!

Also the backplate for the spinner hub has a crack in it ... so ... anyone know where I can get another backplate? The hub has eight small pan head bolts that secures the hub to the plate.
