Once again the venerable Ercoupe/Aircoupe has
proven itself in capturing the National Aeoronautics Association
Transcontinental C1-b record from East to West. My friend Gary Tuovinen
and I Flew from Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, First Flight Airport to Salinas,
California in 55 hours 13 minutes and 5 seconds, in an Alon Aircoupe
N6596Q.
