Kevin For a better climb rate, I can recommend a climb prop on your engine. That is the most efficient way to increase the usefulness of your Coupe. Just get your prop repitched and be impressed - or not so impressed on the gain of climb, depends on your expectation. My mechanics had the prop on my Coupe repitched from 52 to 48 just recently - it climbed better, and I still fly as fast as I was before, only difference is that I have to run the engine at higher RPM on cruise. I would really like a better climb rate. Including pedals, metal wings and an IFR panel. Mark told me the upper half of the cowl was from American Champion and the lower half was built from scratch. He also moved the lower edge of the windshield out about 6" to get a more gradual rake. He told me what engine he had in it, but I don't remember. I do know it's "mega" horsepower...for a coupe. He says he gets about 1200Ft/Min climb, but not much more cruise than a stock coupe. It shore do look nice though.
