----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]----Well, there has been another setback in the restoration of my coupe. I am starting to think that I am not supposed to have an airworthy Ercoupe. I thought that I had found all the corrosion assosiated with my plane (pretty much the whole plane was corrosion), but no. After 9 months of cleaning up and preparing a new/used center section that I found, and being only a day or so away from installing it, we found corrsion on the upper spar cap of it. I have no clue how we did not see this corrosion for 9 months. So now I am back to square 1. So my question is, does anyone have or know of a good center section/upper spar cap/spar that is for sale? I am really trying to avoid buying one from Univair. Hopefully I will eventually be able to fly my plane again!
