fellow coupers, miroslaw pointed on the article in dec issue of the german aerokurier. i own the 415D D-EZII which is the subject of the article. i try to get a *.pdf file of the article since it might be a bit of a problem to pick up a copy in the US. its indeed a very nice article written by hj schulz about the history of the ercoupe, the unique design features and fred weicks achievements. very nice air-to-air photographies were made in this summer by the professional aerial photographer frank herzog. here in germany most people usually do not know anything about ercoupe and its history... this changes know and the ercoupe-story is definitely a highlight in this years aerokurier. one remark to the list of german ercoupes: i got the sad notice, that d-ejkh crashed in a take-off accident in may. the crew survived heavily injured. so it is not longer for sale at the auction you mentioned and the very few european coupes are becoming even fewer... yours holger zinke [EMAIL PROTECTED] ========================================================================== ==== To leave this forum go to: http://ercoupers.com/lists.htm Search the archives on http://escribe.com/aviation/coupers/
