I'd like to thank all of you who emailed me expressing interest in my ercoupe which I had decided to depart with. Another member of the group who I had mentioned I was thinking about selling it with a month ago told me he wanted it if I decided to, but time passes and it was a long distance deal. Anyway earlier this week I talked with my wife and talked about the changes in my work world and loss of time to be able to go places and she felt then that it made sence to sell it.

Yesterday, the deal came together and was going to happen. My wife, Cynthia, was out for the day shopping on the mainland (our Island has no stores to shop at on it, too small, too few people.) I went to the airport, took a collection of pics for the nw owner, and came home and emailed them out. About 5 my wife came in. ... very upset. Not your typical reaction to a day of shopping!

She was very insistant that we should not sell the Ercoupe. It was the first plane she says she has ever felt totally safe in. This came as a suprise to me after a Beach Muskateer, a Piper Arrow, and a Piper Sennaca... She isn't new to nor affraid of flying. But she WAS insistant. I won't go into all her feelings, but suffice it to say, another wife has stepped into the ownership of another Ercoupe, and it is again Christmas time (though that was not a part of it, just an observation since so many of the other stories about this happens at this time.  So 99891 and our family will apparently be flying on into the future.
