Sometimes I wonder why someone hasn't returned the favor and bulldozed his home in the middle of the night while he & his family are away.  
 
I wouldn't do it however; it does seem somewhat equitable.

That makes two of us cause I liked it also, It had airplanes in it.
 
This would make a good movie to show to the homeowner associations that are around your airport.
 
There was an article a few (maybe more than a few) years ago about a town in the mid west during all the floods.
This town flooded and all that was above ground was the runway at the airport. That was the only way people could get supplies in and out of town it saved their bacon.
After the flood they started improving the airport.
