I saw a Forney that had an electric fuel transfer pump and an associated red warning light on the panel that was to glow should the electric fuel pump fail.
1 With electric fuel pumps do the Ercoupes still utilize the mechanical fuel pump?
2 Are the electric fuel pumps used full time if a mechanical fuel pump is also used ?
3 Are the electric pumps used only as a booster pump for take off and landing ?
4 Are there any drawings available for the installation of electric fuel pumps in 415C Ercoupes ?
5 if so, where would such a pump be installed in the plane ?
6 What piping changes would have to be done ?
