Hi Glen,
For all Ercoupe Models in which the C-85 is approved (which, officially,
this engine remains), if it has the McCauley 1A90/CF (elliptical tip) or the
1B90/CM (square tip) Met-L-Prop, applicable TCDS sheets agree on "not over
2225 and not under 2025". It stands to reason if a given prop reached the
upper limit before the rebuild, the additional "real world" power from the
higher compression ratio and additional displacement would require
repitching (courser) to get full throttle static RPMs within TCDS "spec".

I know the static rpm will be different for different engine/prop
combinations, but can someone tell me the approximate static RPM range
for a C-85 with a 0-200 crank STC? I don't know which prop it has,
hence, I am looking for a range.
