'1948 Earth Scoop' two passenger twin sounds about right to me. 
 
IMHO our so called news media is rarely kind to general aviation, and is just about worthless for anything other than dumbed down entertainment.  
 
I'm going to go fly my Ercoupe while I still can....

Anybody have an update on the twin-engine 1948 Earth Scoop? My God, if the press can’t even get THAT right, what do you think they’re screwing up about Iraq?
