Ok, DOCTOR, I'll reply as requested. My records show that your initial
response to Susan's posting of half a dozen AOPA Newsletter "repeats" was to
state that one of the people mentioned in one of Susan's articles was
"terminally stupid". Presumably, this was your medical opinion. If so, can
you tell us non-physicians how that condition relates, if at all, to a
diagnosis of being "terminally garrulous"? There seems to be a lot of that
going around in the matter under discussion. Also, if you insist on
diagnosing my input as "bile", I'd like to request a second opinion.

I think that when an Ercoupe driver like Susan tries in good faith to help
this Ercoupe community, it would behoove us to greet that help gracefully
and with good humor.
I note particularly that she is a new contributor. On the other hand, I am
not. I've said my piece on this forum in the past, and not infrequently
taken some lumps for my views. But I say to all of you people right now, I'm
ashamed of this group for treating a new member so.
Susan, on behalf of the people on this forum who still understand how to
extend friendship to a new member, I bid you welcome. Since my name is
connected with this group, then I share a measure of responsibility for what
these folks say and what they do, and I hereby offer you my personal apology
for their bad manners.
I'm nobody in particular on this forum, so I can't promise it won't happen
again, but if it does, I invite anyone who doesn't like your participation
to direct the same bile against me as they do toward you, because I
appreciate your presence here and if they want to come at me, then I welcome
it.
Please accept my great thanks for your efforts so far, and my cordial
welcome to this collection of misfits.

I think that most/all of the "negative public reprimands" you alllege were
no more public than those in support of you posts, were rather kindly
-worded, and were not reprimands, just expressions of disagreement. Also,
by my count, (the number of) "reprimands" you mention appear to be
overwhelmingly in opposition to those who support your practice of
inundating our Couper website with your personal, garrulous, activist views
- most of which have little or nothing to do with Coupes. Maybe you should
consider backing off...
