I'm sure that this question has been asked and answered several time before, so it may be better to reply off line directly to me @ [EMAIL PROTECTED]

In short, my understanding is that the auto gas STC states that the fuel may NOT contain alcohol.
However here in CA I'm not sure that there is a source of 'non-alcoholic' auto fuel.
Any comments, suggestions, or actual experiences???

Several of the Region 7 California Ercoupers (SoCal) like myself have the auto fuel STC and have never used it.  I have had concerns about the chemicals (alcohol, aromatics, etc.) used in auto fuel possibly attacking the sealant / slosh in the fuel tanks & fuel system of my Ercoupe.  In my case, paying a bit more for Av Gas didn't bother me when it was $2.00 or so a gallon.  Now that Av Gas is selling for between $3.30 and $5.10 a gallon in SoCal, some of us are a bit more interested in the Auto fuel option.

Here's the another CA Ercouper asked the question;
We can't use autogas that contains alcohol, and the State of Cal. no longer allows MTBE additive in auto fuel, so the oil companies are all using methanol, which is alcohol!  Have you or your readers found a source of non-alcoholic auto fuel for their 'coupes here in Cal,?

Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.
