On Thursday June 29th, I took my wife on her first light plane flight in Coupe N99618. The flight was in celebration of 618's 60th birthday, born June 29th, 1946. It was my first legal flight with a passenger as a brand new Sport Pilot. I soloed at Ft Wolters Texas in 1976 (40 year ago), flew 2,000 hours as an Army helicopter pilot including over a 1,000 hours of combat, shot dwon, shot up, taken off flight status for medical reasons in 1978. Love my Coupe, love being back in the air after all these years. The wife and I will be at AirVenture 2006 (25th to the 27th). Hope we see many of you there.
